Definitions

Report: a written account or statement describing in detail the results of an investigation or inquiry conducted for an evaluation of environmental and/or civil projects in regard to protecting the public health, safety, and welfare and/or to guarding the state’s natural resources.

Document: any written item of a factual or informative nature presented as evidence or proof supporting the interpretation and/or conclusions of a scientific investigation/inquiry.
